Antique real rabbit fur cape, circa 1930s/ 1940s. Crafted from plush ivory rabbit with a sculptural swing silhouette and dramatic oversized collar that lies softly around neck and shoulders. Features hand-fur covered button closures and a smooth satin lining in a beautiful royal blue tone. This piece is lightweight yet warm, with beautiful natural variation throughout the fur and a soft, supple feel. An elegant drape intended for evening wear and special occasions in the 30’s and 40’s. The color is a cream/ ivory. More of a yellowish ivory color, opposed to a white ivory.
